Even Donald Trump is taking shots at the Jets now.

A day after the Jets blew their postseason hopes in Buffalo, Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump decided to kick the team’s owner while he’s down.

“Woody Johnson, owner of the NYJets, is @JebBush’s finance chairman. If Woody would’ve been w/me, he would’ve been in the playoffs, at least!” Trump tweeted on Monday.

Johnson is, indeed, the national finance chairman for the Bush campaign. Like the Jets at the moment, that campaign isn’t doing too well, either. And now Gang Green’s owner has to take a ribbing from Trump.

Johnson wasn’t in the best of moods after the Jets unexpectedly lost to the Bills on Sunday, 22-17. “Oh, what do you think? Come on,” Johnson said, before pushing past reporters, when asked how missing the playoffs felt.

Don’t bank on Johnson responding to Trump anytime soon.
