Bergeron leaves hospital, but status unclear for Game 6

Patrice Bergeron is a question mark for the Bruins heading into Game 6 of the NHL Finals.

BOSTON — Bruins general manager Peter Chiarelli says forward Patrice Bergeron was discharged from a Chicago hospital and was expected to fly home with the team Sunday morning.

Bergeron was injured in the second period of Saturday night’s 3-1 loss to the Blackhawks in Game 5 of the Stanley Cup finals. Chicago leads the series 3-2 heading into Game 6 in Boston on Monday night.

The Bruins would not divulge any specifics about the injury.
